What we collect
When you buy from us online or in the shop: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, and details of what you bought.
When you pay by card: your card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are processed by them, not by us. We never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: whatever you put in your email, message or phone call, so we can answer you.
When you use this website: standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you looked at. See the cookies section below.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
- To fulfil your order – process payment, deliver the goods, handle returns and answer questions about it. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To keep proper business records – invoices, VAT records and accounts. Legal basis: our legal obligations, mainly under tax law.
- To run the shop and this website – keeping track of what you have bought before so we can advise you on the right cartridge for your printer. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in serving our customers properly.
- To send you offers or news – only if you have asked us to. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information to anybody, ever. We share it only with the firms that help us run the business, and only with what they need:
- Our payment provider (Stripe) – to take card payments.
- Our website provider (Webfactory) – who host this website.
- Couriers (An Post and Xpect) – your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver your order.
- Our accountants – for bookkeeping, VAT and annual accounts.
- Google Analytics – anonymous statistics about how this website is used.
We may also have to give information to Revenue or another public body where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep records of sales, invoices and VAT for six years, because tax law requires it. Customer account and purchase history we keep while you remain a customer, so we can help you with repeat orders and warranty questions. Emails and enquiries we keep for two years. If you ask us to delete information we hold, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- have anything wrong corrected
- have information erased, where we are not required to keep it
- object to us using it, or ask us to restrict how we use it
- receive it in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, where you gave it

Cookies
A cookie is a small file this website puts on your device.
- Essential cookies keep the site working – remembering what is in your basket and keeping you signed in. The site cannot work without them.
